What is digital storytelling?

Digital storytelling is a creative and engaging process where you create a short personal story (3-5 minutes long) using a combination of images, text, audio, and video. It is a unique opportunity to share your experiences and perspectives in an artistic and engaging way.

Why Digital Storytelling?

There is a wealth of research showing that storytelling in this form offers health benefits for both the storytellers and the audience.

How does it work?

  • The first step is to create a script, which is the first draft of the story that forms the foundation.

  • The next step is to collect various media, including images, texts, audio recordings and videos that support and enrich the story.

  • The media and script are then integrated into a compelling narrative using editing software. This combination of different media creates a vivid and powerful story.

  • Finally, the finished story is presented and appreciated. This is the moment when the story has its full impact and reaches the audience.
